The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), a pioneer in the fight against rheumatic diseases for over 70 years, needed a modern IT solution to replace its outdated on-premise infrastructure. The following three short facts summarize the key results:
The European League Against Rheumatism - EULAR for short - is the European umbrella organization of all scientific societies, patient organizations and healthcare professionals in the field of rheumatology. For more than 70 years now, they have been pursuing the goal of improving the diagnosis and treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases and reducing the burden of rheumatic diseases on people. They are closely networked globally and formulate globally recognized recommendations for patient care.
The outdated on-premise IT infrastructure was an increasing headache for the long-established company. With Windows 7 and outdated tools such as Lotus Notes, it was simply no longer possible to meet modern challenges. Modern solutions had to be found for its more than 40 IT applications. In addition, maintaining their own servers was costly and the time and energy required was extremely high.
EULAR needed an IT solution that would ensure flexibility, productivity and security. Dinotronic migrated their oldon-premise infrastructure completely to the cloud and offered an innovative, digital workplace based on Microsoft 365 tools. This improved their internal and external collaboration, allowing them to refocus on their core competencies. The transition was a significant step, which we supported with professional change management, including workshops and training foremployees.
By switching to the Managed Workplace Service, EULAR now works more efficiently, flexibly and securely. Modern collaboration toolssuch as Microsoft Teams make cross-location collaboration much easier. In addition, the Dinotronic service deskoffersprofessional support for technical issues at all times.
"Thanks to the switch to Dinotronic's Digital Workplace, we were able to completely renew our outdated IT infrastructure and are now more efficient and secure than ever before. "
