Short Facts Customer

The Drahtzug workshop supports people with disabilities on their path to professional integration. As a long-standing customer, Drahtzug has completed the transformation from a managed cloud workplace to a modern managed workplace service (MWS) together with Dinotronic. The following three short facts summarize the most important results of the collaboration:

  • Further development based on trust:
As a long-standing partner, Drahtzug has supported the technological transformation from the very beginning, from the cloud strategy to the future-proof Managed Workplace Service.
  • Reliability & security in everyday life:
With MWS, Drahtzug benefits from a stable, centrally managed and secure IT infrastructure with no interruption to operations and clearly defined support channels.
  • Individual support & digital participation:
The changeover to the MWS was barrier-free and tailored precisely to the needs of the institution so that all employees remain optimally integrated.

Initial situation

Werkstätte Drahtzug has been committed to the professional integration of people with disabilities for decades. To ensure that this valuable work is also optimally supported in the digital age, the association began looking for a reliable IT partner at an early stage. The requirements were clear: stable, secure and low-maintenance workstations, individually adaptable to different areas of application in everyday workshop life.

Drahtzug opted for Dinotronic's Managed Cloud Workplace early on, a solution that focused on simplicity and security. However, technologies continue to evolve and with them the requirements for modern IT workplaces.

The next step: from MCW to MWS - a joint development

Werkstätte Drahtzug was one of our first customers to opt for the Managed Cloud Workplace, a bold step into a modern, centrally managed IT world at the time. From the very beginning, the collaboration was characterized by openness, trust and a clear shared vision: An IT infrastructure that empowers people to make their contribution regardless of technical or personal requirements.

Over the years, not only has the technology evolved, but also the requirements of a digital workplace. When we strategically developed our services from Managed Cloud Workplace (MCW) to today's Managed Workplace Service (MWS), it quickly became clear: Drahtzug was going down this path with us. This transformation was more than just a technical change, it was an expression of a shared understanding of quality, further development and digital participation. The change was planned together at an early stage, closely coordinated and implemented with great care.

The fact that Drahtzug has made this journey with us is not a matter of course for us, but a nice confirmation of the partnership that we have been pursuing together for many years.

Approach

As with all projects with Drahtzug, the focus here was on people. The changeover took place gradually and with close support from our team. Thanks to regular coordination, clear communication and transparent planning, all workstations were transferred smoothly to the new platform. Instead of a big bang migration, new tools and security guidelines were gradually introduced and we closely supported users with training and follow-up support. It was extremely important that all users were able to enter the new modern world and were optimally empowered to do so. A key user concept was implemented so that users always have a contact person at their disposal. This ensures that everyone is optimally supported in the event of questions and uncertainties and that no resignation to the new world can arise.

Result

The Drahtzug workshop now benefits from a modern, secure and user-friendly workplace that is optimally tailored to its needs. The new platform offers more flexibility, greater security and improved support options. The new environment now allows Drahtzug to work in a mobile and flexible manner, digitize many processes and promote internal collaboration.

There was a high level of satisfaction with the migration, particularly because the changeover could be implemented without interrupting operations. Drahtzug was open, interested and solution-oriented and we very much appreciate the fact that we were able to go down this path together. It is particularly pleasing that digitalization is not just a one-off project for Drahtzug, but has now become a constant questioning of existing structures. We are delighted that we can continue to accompany Drahtzug on its journey in a strong and trusting partnership.

Digitalization should empower people, not exclude them. Werkstätte Drahtzug lives by this principle and we are proud to be able to contribute to this with our solution.
